The Wildfish Cannery produces our smoked tinned coho salmon to bring you a taste of Alaska's wild bounty, infused with their craft traditions and sealed in a can. Thick pieces of troll caught coho salmon are gently smoked with natural alder wood, preserving their firm texture and rich wild salmon flavor. Then they are hand packed into cans and cooked to perfection.
The Stikine River salmon filling these cans were caught by the Lazy J out of Craig, Alaska. Coho salmon is known for its orange-red flesh, delicate flavor and firm texture. Low in saturated fat, and an excellent source of Omega-3 fatty acids, high quality protein, selenium, phosphorous and potassium.
A cuddly and functional layer made of soft, warm, heather grey fleece. We designed this fleece to keep you warm on the boat, in the mountains, and around town – the perfect piece to pair with your favorite leggings or work pants.
Designed to keep female fishermen and boaters sure-footed on the water, this Salmon Sisters Legacy boot is waterproof, lightweight, comfortable and flexible. The signature chevron outsole design and unique rubber compound provides maximum surface contact for traction and stability in even most challenging fishing conditions. Inside, we designed a print covered in all five species of salmon that we catch in Alaska, as well as Steelhead and Rainbow trout. These fish are beloved to sport fishermen, commercial fishermen, subsistence fishermen, biologists, coastal residents, and seafood lovers. Our lives, like so many Alaskan lives, revolve around the seasonal movement and life cycle of these fish. We think about them all the time, especially when we’re wearing out Xtratuf Boots during the fishing season. We figured it was time that all the other fish-loving ladies out there had a pair of lucky boots like these!
Designed for hardworking women with style. The Salmon Sisters XTRATUF ankle deck boot is a casual take on our favorite Alaskan footwear; wear them for guaranteed grip on the back deck and dry feet on your next ocean adventure. A low profile boot with easy-on loops also makes these perfect for touring around town on rainy days.
