This salmon was caught and processed in Southeast Alaska by Yakobi Fisheries a family-owned and operated fisheries business located in Pelican Alaska, owned by Seth Stewart and wife Amy. The salmon Yakobi Fisheries processes is Fresh Frozen (frozen within 48 hours of being caught and still fresh and delicious) and available in varying vacuum packed sized portions. The salmon are hook-and-line caught, in person, each fish pulled into the boat one at a time. This method of fishing, known as trolling, allows extra time to clean and care for each fish as it comes aboard. The salmon we have supplied from Yakobi Fisheries carries the Yakobi Fisheries label and a small custom Salmon Sisters label on each vacuum packed portion. This salmon was caught during the Summer 2018 Troll season in Southeast Alaska.
