These beautiful earrings are made by Unangax̂ and Yup'ik artist, Mercedes Kashatok. With over 10 years of sewing and beading experience, she launched Chix̂tax̂ Designs in 2020 - inspired by her cultures and fellow artists. She sources all traditional materials (for example dried seal gut and furs) from Alaska Native persons and/or Alaska Native artists.
