Adrift Prints makes simple designs inspired by a complex landscape. "My prints are meant to connect people to place. Every piece is rooted in a deep love and appreciation for my home and the people who knew this land intimately, long before I ever saw my first mountain." Kristin Vantrease a self-taught printmaker living in Anchorage, Alaska.
Bishop's Beach Print: Waves crash onto the beach while sea foam makes intricate patterns on the water's surface. Based off of a photo of Bishop's Beach in Homer, Alaska - this beach is where I would go swimming, tidepooling, skipping class, and years later, where I would get married.
Outer Point Print: Inspired by the view looking out from Outer Point Beach on Douglas, AK - this print brings together different landscapes from Juneau and the rocky coastline covered in barnacles and swathed in seaweed.
Hang it solo, or pair with my other oval shaped print "Lowell Point View." Contrast or match colors for a stunning display.
Grace Ridge Print: Bring back memories from your own adventures in Kachemak Bay on the Grace Ridge trail. Even though I grew up in Homer, it wasn't until a few years ago that I finally joined a group of girlfriends on a birthday hike on the Grace Ridge trail. Stunning views of mountains on mountains and a glittering bay, easily make this one of my favorite trails near Homer.
Alaskan Botanical Greeting Card Pack: Share a small piece of Alaska when you send one of these botanically inspired greeting cards! Each image started out as an original hand-carved linocut print. These cards are digitally (but locally!) printed.
