Wild Alaska Halibut Portion Box: 10 LB

First time ordering the SS halibut. So delicious! This was for us but would also make a great gift. Love the salmon so not sure what to order next time. Maybe both.

A colleague recommended Salmon Sisters to me last year. I was wary at first because I used to shop for fish that's been reduced in price because it has a day or two left on the "sell by" date. With a newly empty nest and just my wife and I to cook for, I decided to splurge on us. I've had no regrets and haven't thought about the price since. We've ordered 3 boxes, the Cod, the Halibut, and an exciting Halibut / Salmon combo that offered 3 different salmon products. What strikes me most is that the fish has never smelled fishy when released from the vacuum pack and as others have mentioned, if anything, you can smell the ocean in the product. That gives me great confidence preparing the meal that sometimes is lacking when we buy from a grocer and have to think about how to neutralize the fishiness and whether buying the fish was a mistake.

Every night we open the deep freezer and pull out Salmon Sisters fish, we know it's going to be a special night. Count us in as lifetime customers going forward (and bring back the Halibut / Salmon combo box!).

Ahhh, Halibut! After many orders of Salmon Sisters salmon, I took a chance on a halibut order for a change. Upon arrival immediately cooked the simple sautéed pesto and lemon halibut from the cookbook/email and it is scrumptious. Highly recommend!

It doesn’t get any better than Salmon Sisters halibut! This is my 4th or 5th shipment of fish from them. It arrived quickly and frozen solid - all the way to North Carolina. I baked our first meal with a crunchy herb topping and it was delicious. My husband, who is not a fish lover, said it was the best fish ever!

The flash frozen halibut arrived as advertised by the Salmon Sisters. We have had several meals now and the halibut is absolutely delicious without any hint of a fishy taste or smell. The quality and taste is superb! It is very difficult here in Phoenix to get fresh seafood. Thanks to the Salmon sisters we now have access to top quality seafood. We have ordered the smoked Sockeye salmon, as well as the Wild Fish Box of flash frozen Sockeye filets, and to have it delivered to our front door is fantastic. The quality of everything that we have ordered has been topnotch. Many thanks and keep up the great work!
