We're in the heart of winter and the holidays are here! We're a few weeks into a cold snap in Homer and like much of Southcentral Alaska, everything is frozen. The lakes are beautiful for skating and ice fishing if you're brave enough to bundle up and brave the cold temps! When we're inside, home smells like citrus and rosemary, thanks to this Italian-inspired orange cake that's almost too pretty to eat. Happy Winter Solstice everyone; may every day bring more light into your lives.
